Overall Product Rating: 5/5
Price: 5/5 (cheap but effective)
Packaging: 5/5 (sturdy jar)
Product Quality: 5/5
What they say:
A gel-based liquid eyeliner that't soft on the lids and rich in definition. (No that's not a typo on my part)
Directions for Use:
Use an eyeshadow brush and gently apply color over your lids and blend. (Methinks Tita Fanny neglected to put new instructions)
MY REVIEW:
This is my first gel eyeliner, and frankly, I am very pleased with my purchase! I've been using it for around 2-3 days, and I've finally become comfortable with the application (woohoo!) using either the CS angled liner brush or the bent liner brush (a must have). Here's a picture of me wearing it (sorry for the poor picture quality):
PROS:
- It's easy to apply (you'll need practice of course, being the beauty newbie, I had my fair share of poked eyes and uneven lines) because it's very creamy.
- A little goes a LOOONG way. I could just load up my bent eyeliner or angled eyeliner brushes and I can already do one eye.
- It doesn't smudge on my eyelids, even without a primer. There's no flaking or transferring to my undereyes, and darn it, I can go without mascara when I put this on!
- It's an opaque black which I don't need to reapply because it remains true to the color in the pot for hours (check out my previous post for a timestamped test).
- It's very inexpensive, compared to the CoastalScents gel eyeliner, or the MAC fluidlines.
- It's readily available at department stores.
CONS:
- It only comes in black. (Tita Fanny, please make them in gold, silver, green, purple, etc.)
Damage:
Php225 (roughly $4.50)
Would I buy this again?
YES!!! Although this jar will probably last me a lifetime...

And for a little non-makeup related break, here's a picture of my sweet kitty, China:

Try out the gel eyeliner, it's worth it! Btw, Nikki's post on lining the eyes really helped me, check it out!
